Hours of Operation

Mon-Fri - 7am to 11pm Sat-Sun – 8am to 8 pm

Consists of Shift work Rotational Schedules This could be any of the following shifts outlined in the next column Flexibility is a must Punctuality is critical

Shift A. 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

Shift B. 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Shift C. 12 noon to 8:00 pm

Shift D. 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

 

Job Description:
· Provide first level phone support for incident management (operational and technical) for all store and corporate support issues (examples: Software, Hardware, and How-to).

· Responsible for accurate and timely logging of support calls in call tracking system and escalation of problems where appropriate.

· Effective Trouble shooting and common sense approach to solving issues a must.

· Able to act in a responsive and sensitive manner to all customer inquiries.

· Able to work rotational shifts (7X24 pager support if required).

· Accountable for personal statistics plus team goals.

· Other projects/duties as assigned

Skills Required:
· Diploma/degree or equivalent 1 – 3 years work related experience.

· Experience/knowledge of Computer concepts and skills (PC, Printers, Network, LAN, UNIX), as well as knowledge of business applications.

· Customer Service skills an asset.

· Professional, enthusiastic, dependable and flexible.

· Ability to work in a team environment.

· Previous Helpdesk or Customer Service knowledge an asset

We are looking for a Senior Programmer.

Provides input into all phases of the project

Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, and debugs complex application programs

Provides technical direction to programmers

Shows capabilities of performing team leader functions

Develops and/or leads the development of prototypes

Communicate with project teams and business partners

Coordinate activities with internal & external groups

Familiar with Technical Lead role and activities (provides sizing's, assist PM in defining work scope)

Requires a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or has equivalent work experience)

Minimum of 3 years of systems analysis/programming experience

Experience using applicable programming methodologies

Experience of using a systems analysis and design methodology

Experience of using a variety of software languages

Has Conceptual Architecture knowledge

Has An understanding of industry trends and tools

Understanding of windows server and networking environments

Senior level windows .NET development experiance using webservices

Experiance with programming in a distributed environment with a mainframe backend
